Nina & Nathan's Anniversary Session | Old Town Clovis, CA
Updated: Feb 11
Nina & Nathan met many many years ago, and started dating 8 years ago December. They became engaged in 2019, with their wedding date set for March 2020.
I'm sure you know where this is going--they had to postpone their wedding 2 days prior due to COVID-19's arrival. Through the difficult decisions and disheartening feelings during the beginning of the pandemic, Nina & Nathan were determined to be married.
This last September, Nina & Nathan were married in their beautiful new home.
While a beautiful experience, they were unable to have any photos done of them. When Nina reached out a few months ago about this session, I knew I wanted to be there to tell this story.
Nina had recently moved to Clovis, and didn't have much opportunity to explore due to the pandemic, She wanted an editorial, city-look and I suggested Old Town Clovis. We started with a few close-ups along one of the many brick walls there.
I love these tight, intimate shots because you can see their connection with one another, what they've been through, and hope for the future.
After a few minutes, we found my favorite spot for Nina & Nathan.
I'm always sure to see if the couple would like some solo shots--it's a great opportunity to get some new profiles pics.
We walked a little further to find a throwback for Nathan. He worked at Gottschalk's Music Center in Clovis for some time, so it was only fitting that we finished their session in the glowing lights near.
Happy few-months-into-marriage-iversary, Nina & Nathan. Capturing your love story was an honor, and I'm so glad you chose me.
